A veteran of the Panama Invasion and the first Gulf War,Denver re-enlisted after 9/11 and went to Iraq as a Specialist. While in Iraq, he was injured in a truck accident. Although he is now permanently disabled, he is not included in the Pentagon's casualty count because his injuries were not sustained during direct contact with the enemy.

Operation Truth member veterans are touring the nation to share their firsthand stories about the war. The organization's website ( www.optruth.org), publishes information about the human toll of the war and the challenges many military personnel face, both on the battlefield and upon their return home. Although they represent a non-partisan, pro-Troops stance on the Iraq conflict, the veterans have provided candid critiques of military policies to audiences across the country.
